Goran Subotic, a native of Belgrade, Serbia, is a distinguished professional with a Ph.D. in Economy – Business Management and a bachelor’s degree in Economics of Tourism.
In April 1997, he founded Mystic Ballet, a testament to his visionary leadership in the realm of dance.
A notable achievement occurred in 1999 when Mr. Subotic invited former Kirov prima ballerina Alla Osipenko to join Mystic Ballet Academy, showcasing his commitment to excellence and collaboration with esteemed artists.
An acclaimed choreographer, in 2003, Mr. Subotic created the original work "Wind in Your Hair" for Misty Copeland, presented at Foxwoods Resort Casino, further establishing his prowess in choreography.
The year 2013 witnessed the production of the Nutcracker Spectacular, choreographed, produced, and staged by Mr. Subotic at MGM Grand Theater and Fox Theater – FOXWOODS. Subsequent years saw the creative collaboration between Mr. Subotic and his son Aleks, resulting in unique conceptual works such as NOTTOBe, GRAB, FLESH!, and the HOLIDAY SPECTACULAR, all performed at MYSTIC DARK ROOM.
