Rachel was born in Peterborough, England and started studying Ballet, Tap, Modern and Jazz from the age of 3. During her training she had the opportunity to perform at the Dance Proms at the Royal Albert Hall in London in 2012, as well as several other regional and national competitions. At the age of 16, Rachel gained a place at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland where she participated in full time vocational training for 3 years before graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Modern Ballet in 2016. Throughout her time at RCS, Rachel was able to work with esteemed dancers and choreographers such as; Christopher Hampson, director of Scottish Ballet; Paul Liburd MBE; Eve Mutso, former principal at Scottish Ballet; Sophie Martin, Principal at Scottish Ballet; and Constant Virgier, Coryphee at Scottish Ballet. Rachel also performed many notable roles such as: Swanhilda from Copellia, Gamzatti from La Bayadere, Tchaikovsky Pas de Deux by George Balanchine, Wind Devil by Nina Weiner, Hush by Christopher Bruce, and Roughcut by Richard Alston. Rachel joined Mystic Ballet and Mystic Dark Room artists in 2016, where she has created the role of Ms. Candy Cane in Nutcracker Spectacular and leading roles in Goran & Aleksander Subotic’s Fragile, Shot!, and Jacked. She’s portrayed Flotsam, and Ursula in The Little Mermaid. Rachel has toured Serbia with Mystic Ballet and The Dark Room Experience in the summer of 2019. In her spare time Rachel likes to talk about her dogs, show people pictures of her dogs, and pet dogs. She really likes dogs. Rachel’s a triple threat that teaches Ballet, Pointe, and Musical Theater and SMB.
