Mystic Ballet is a performing company comprised of professional dancers and
young local talents, who have the opportunity to grow as artists, by performing
and studying dance on a scholarship basis. Since its founding in 1997, Mystic
Ballet has been producing and presenting ballet productions for children and
families, creating seven - original, and captivating classic story ballet's,
and more than two dozen classical and contemporary repertory works, becoming
the regions only company with a full performing season. Mystic Ballet is opening
a new decade, by presenting world premiere works by resident choreographer,
Sergei Vanaev, as well as Mystic Ballet's Dance Me A Story - Family Series.
As a non-profit dance institution in Southern New England, its goal is to
produce world class dance performances, nurture its artists and students, and
serve its communities through superior educational, and outreach programs.
