Mystic is a leading New England tourist mecca, and most desirable destination between New York and Boston. Located on the coast of Long Island Sound in a traditional seaport setting, Mystic offers a combined opportunity to enjoy many of its recreational activities and special attractions, making its Summer Program a unique and memorable experience.

Summer Program offers a thorough introduction to Mystic Ballet’s company and F.A.D. – Network program. In addition, it serves as an extended audition for dancers seeking admission to Mystic Ballet’s F.A.D. Program for the Season. During the summer, dancers can take advantage of the opportunity to work with Mystic Ballet’s artistic staff and guest artists and choreographers. Dancers will work with company’s resident choreographer on creating premiers for the upcoming season, and they will be performing company repertory on the final day of the program.

You will be part of the one of most progresive dance companies in the US, being up to date with the dance world. Work with dancers – artists from around the world setting new ideas and standards, with the combination of a European artistic background, American enthusiasm and a very progressive coaching philosophy and personal atmosphere

Summer Program dancers find their free time filled with opportunities to experience and enjoy the many activities, special events, and historic sites New England has to offer, including visits to New York, Boston, and Newport. Beach is conveniently located within walking distance from the Mystic Ballet housing. Recreational activities include visits and window shopping at renowned Foxwoods Resort Casino.
Merit grants and financial aid are available to qualified dancers.
