Founded in 1997 by Desiree and Goran Subotic, and as a non-profit educational and performing arts institution has the mission to:

-Provide world class performances – Promoting outstanding creativity and artistic excellence nationally and internationally
-Provide Family Programming through its “Dance Me A Story” – Family Series for the local audience
-Increase understanding of the cultural and social importance of the arts and art of dance 
-Maximize arts development opportunities and innovations
-Provide the best technical and artistic training for dancers

This mission is the foundation for a legacy, to make dance accessible to the widest possible public through touring, educational programs, the creative use of media, and other outreach efforts, and by doing so expand the Company’s audience and art of dance.
