Who is Raymond:
Currently Dance Professor at the Universidad Academia de Humanismo Cristiano, Santiago Chile.Born in Leipzig, Germany, his professional study began at the Palucca Schule, Dresden. After graduation he danced with Komische Oper Berlin, the State Theater in Kassel, and Semper Oper Dresden as soloist.

During his career he worked and performed, as a soloist and principal, works by Mats Ek, Jiri Kiliyan, Glen Tetley, John Neimaier as Tristan in “Tristan and Isolde”, Stephan Toss as Romeo in “Romeo un Julia”, John Cranko, Tom Schilling, Patricio Bunster, and others.

For his artistic achievements he was honored with the Medal of Florence, Italy, and the Mary Wigman Prize.

Upon retiring from the stage Mr. Hilbert received the honorable title of “Profesur” from the Ministry of Culture in Saxony. For the following nine years he was Chair and Director of Pedagogy with the Palucca Schule Dresden.

As a dance pedagogue Mr. Hilbert was invited and has taught at some of the world’s foremost educational facilities: The John Neumaier School, Hamburg, Germany; Rearson University, San Francisco; Arts Umbrella, Vancouver, Canada; Conservatory of Dance, Prague, Czechoslovakia; Stanford University, California, USA; University Tilburg, Holland; and Universidad San Jose.
