In 2009, Kimura was part of the 1st place ensemble at the Youth America Grand Prix in Japan. She went on to win 2nd place at the NAMUE Classical Ballet Competition in 2012 as a soloist. She premiered as a principal artist in Don Quixote as Kitri and Aurora in Sleeping Beauty at Sonoko Ballet. Kimura was invited to dance as a soloist in La Bayadere in 2011. She joined Mystic Ballet in 2012.
