Summer Season offers a thorough introduction to Mystic Ballet company and its repertory. In addition, it may serve as an extended audition for dancers seeking admission to MB II  for the upcoming season.

Mystic Ballet’s commitment to gifted young dancers is the same during both the summer season and the performance season: to provide comprehensive ballet and dance training, high-quality instruction, and a safe, living environment. Mystic is a leading New England tourist mecca, and one of the most desirable destinations between New York and Boston. Located on the coast of Long Island Sound in a traditional seaport setting, Mystic offers a combined opportunity to enjoy many of its recreational activities and special attractions.

During the summer, dancers can take advantage of the opportunity to work with Mystic Ballet’s artistic staff and guest artists and choreographers. Dancers will work with the company’s resident choreographers on creating premiers for the upcoming season, and they will perform company repertory on the final day of the program.

You will be part of the one of most progresive dance companies in the US, being up to date with the dance world. Work with dancers – artists from around the world setting new ideas and standards, with the combination of a European artistic background, American enthusiasm and a very progressive coaching philosophy and personal atmosphere.

Limited work study and merit grants are available to qualified dancers.
