Snow White - Dance Me A Story - Family Series
"Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Who is the fairest one of all?"
After the sold out premiere of Snow White in 2002, Mystic Ballet is bringing
the fair princess back to the Garde Arts Center stage March 8, 2008.
The captivating two act, seven scene production originally choreographed by
Desiree Subotic, has been spiced up by Brazilian choreographer Vanessa Duarte
da Silva. This fairy tale ballet, created to the score of B. Pavlovsky, is filled
with comical and dramatic choreography, elaborate scenery and costumes surpassed
only by an entourage of magical and special effects, a family production specifically
designed to delight the young, and those young at heart.
Snow White will be performed by Carey McGuire, the Prince by Jamar Goodman.
The evil Queen will be portrayed by Vanessa Duarte da Silva.
Feel the magic, through which an Enchanted Mirror becomes alive, a mysterious
smoking cauldron emits a floating apple to the hand of the Queen who transforms
herself to an old and ugly hag.
One of the great classic fairy tales, brought to life by brilliant choreography,
story book inspired costumes and sets, magical visual effects and by the artistry
of the dancers from Mystic Ballet.
This performance includes a pre show talk with choreographers.

Following the performance, children will be able to meet with dancers and get
their autographs.
Audience members will have the opportunity to win a prize to join Snow White
and her friends on stage for a personalized photograph.
