Be inspired…the artists, dancers and choreographers of Mystic Ballet have seized this opportunity to perform together in a special festive performance for you.  Local, international, and special guest artists will perform on the brand new stage, classical masterpieces to delight traditionalists and new works of four choreographers.

 

• Gabrielle Lamb of Morphoses, will perform Transit of Venus and present Marooned, Mystic Ballet premièred these works at Jacobs Pillow this summer.

 

• Connecticut Lyric Opera and Connecticut Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra, string quartet led by Artistic Director Adrian Sylveen

 

• Brian Enos, “his work is quite frankly, brilliant” – The Houston Press

 

• Sergei Vanev’s Periscope Up! set to music by Tom Waits

 

• Lauren Edson of Trey McIntyre Project, see her exhilarating Sun and Steel inspired by Yukio Mishima’s belief that Japanese culture blends the two contradictory elements of beauty and brutality.
