
Fiona Hulands
Grew up in a rural town in New South Wales Australia, at the age of nine she started her training with DiSalvatore Dance Academy. In 2005, she moved to New Zealand to begin her professional training at the New Zealand School of Dance, graduating in 2007 with a National Diploma in Dance. She has completed her Royal Academy of Dance training having achieved distinction in Advanced Two.
Since joining Mystic Ballet in 2010, Hulands has enjoyed performing lead roles such as Snow White and Giselle in Sergei Vanaev’s Giselle. She was also featured in The New York Times and was selected by the company to fly to Australia in 2011 for the annual company audition in Sydney. Hulands has performed with the Royal New Zealand Ballet, Tokyo Disneyland performing the lead role of Wicked Queen in the stage show One Man’s Dream II, and has appeared on/with Physical TV Australia, Urban Arts Festival Sydney and Hatch Productions.
