Born in Manaqua, Nicaraqua.
Education: National Ballet School from Nicaragua, Graduation 2013 William Herrera, Anna Medrano, Maria Torguet.
Experience: At the age of 14 he began to dance with the Ballet Folkloric Macehuatl of Maître Alejandro Cuadra where he became principal dancer. At the age of 22, he studied ballet at the National Ballet School of Nicaragua, under the direction of William Herrera, principal teachers include William Herrera, Ana Maria Medrano and Coca Torguet and Nelson Coca. In 2007 he joined the Contemporary Dance UNAN-Managua University, under the direction of Ally Reyes and in 2010 joined the Compañia Ballet de Nicaragua, under the direction of William Herrera. He participated in the International Ballet Galas in Nicaragua and El Salvador. Lopez has a degree in Marketing and was a director and choreographer for Danza Ollantay-UNICA University, and former president of the Bachelor of Dance in the UNAN-Managua. He was a Diamond medalist in the international competition in Panama, Danza Activa 2012.
His repertoire with MB includes works by Sergei Vanaev, Gabrielle Lamb, and Austin McCormick.
In 2013 he performed with Mystic Ballet, Sergei Vanaev’s “Swan Lake” at Jacob’s Pillow Inside/Out Series. This is his first season with Mystic Ballet 2.
