Martina started her ballet studies at the age of 10, graduating ISTD Cecchetti, from the Hamlyn School in Florence, where she also studied contemporary dance with Bruce Michelson. After graduation she trained with ballet master Gianni Santucci, with whom she was able to explore professional collaborations at the Opéra Royal de Wallonie, in Belgium. At the same time she attended international stage workshops working on Galili, Prejlocaj, and Carlson repertoire and discovering a passion for the Balanchine technique that she studied with Santucci. Performance highlights include dancing at the Theatre du Trocadéro, in Belgium, and at the International Festival in Terni, Italy. Martina loves movement and working in a way that is natural and expressive. Her drive is to creatively join ballet with contemporary. Martina says dance moves her from the heart and the stomach, her desire is to show this to the world with her strong character and smile. This is her first season with Mystic Ballet2.
