Henry grew up in North Yorkshire, England. He first trained at The Academy of Northern Ballet in their Centre for Advanced Training Program where he studied classical ballet and contemporary dance. At sixteen years old, Henry went on to train at Elmhurst Ballet School in association with Birmingham Royal Ballet for two years. There he continued the study of classical ballet, contemporary dance, jazz, flamenco as well as experimenting with choreography. Henry then returned to The Academy of Northern Ballet to complete a final year of training back in their Graduate Program where he trained and danced alongside the company.
Performance highlights for Henry include performing David Nixon’s ‘The Nutcracker’ with Northern Ballet and also representing Northern Ballet at the Corpi in Monstra Gala in Italy where he performed ‘Bach ‘n Boys’, in the Teatro Curci Barletta, choreographed by David Nixon. In his spare time, Henry explores different techniques in dance photography. This is Henry’s first year with Mystic Ballet 2.
