Born in Campinas-SP, Brazil.
Education: Felipe started his studies in 2000, at the Corpo de Dança Simone Bosco, Campinas/SP, obtaining his training of jazz and contemporary dance, at where he participated in many national and international competitive festivals in the contemporary solo category. He was awarded first prize at the IV Capézio Competition, 2nd and 3rd prize at the Passo de Arte International (YAGP Brazil Selective), and attended the Joinville Dance Festival.
In 2007 he joined the Ballet Juliana Omati, Campinas/SP, where he received classical training in the Vaganova and Balanchine methods, from 2009 to 2010 worked as soloist with the school company, directed by Eduardo Bonnis. From 2010 to 2012 he was invited by the Cuban Maitre Roberto Rosa to participate in the montages of the Cuban version of the ballets Don Quixote and La Fille Mal Guardée.
2010 he began his professional career and joined the Company of the Academy Of Ballet IAD-Lina Penteado, Campinas/SP, when he stayed until 2015, obtaining his training of The Royal Academy Of Dance method, directed by Maria Silvia de Genaro, Luciana Checchia and Liliana Testa. There he performed as soloist in the ballets Cinderella, Swan Lake, Paquita, Don Quixote and The Nutcracker.
In 2012 he won a full scholarship to participate in the Summer Excellence of the American Academy Of Ballet School, in New York, directed by Mignon Furman.
Throughout Felipe’s professional career he has performed in musical theater and Brazilian television. Some highlights are: I Gotcha! (Bob Fosse and Fred Ebb), The Hunchback Of Notre Dame as Clopin, The Lion King as Pumba and The Little Mermaid as Scuttle.
Felipe joined Mystic Ballet 2 in 2015, and was promoted to Mystic Ballet for the Season 2016-2017. His repertory with Mystic Ballet includes works by Goran Subotic, Sergei Vanaev, Lauren Edson, and he has performed featured roles in Goran Subotic’s The Little Mermaid.
