Born in Manaqua, Nicaragua.
Education: Ballet Clasico at the National School of Ballet, Mystic Ballet Academy.
Experience: Danced with the company High Dance where he performed Latin Dance, Hip Hop and Break Dance. In 2009, he began dancing for Ballet Concert of Nicaragua directed by Elving Vanegas. In 2010, Vallecillo received critical praise for his portrayal of Peter Pan for the annual benefit APROQUEN. He performed with the National Company of Dance of El Salvador in 2011.
Her repertoire with MB includes works by Brian Enos, Lauren Edson, Gabrielle Lamb, and Austin McCormick.
In 2012 he performed Gabrielle Lamb’s “Marooned” at Jacob’s Pillow Inside/Out Series.
In 2013 he performed in New York City, for APAP 2013. This past summer he returned to Nicaragua, for the 11th Annual International Ballet Gala, were his homecoming performance of the “Flames of Paris” and Lauren Edson’s “Sun & Steel” was received with accolades. In 2013, he returned to Jacob’s Pillow Inside/Out Series twice for the performances of Lauren Edson’s “Imaginary Love” as well as “Sun & Steel” and Sergei Vanaev’s “Swan Lake” that concluded with a standing ovation. This is his third season with Mystic Ballet.
