At the age of 11 she was accepted into the International Ballet Project, a pre-professional company, now re-named Dance Conservatory Performance Project were she performed corps and soloist roles in Swan Lake, Paquita, Raymonda, Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Chopiniana and La Bayadere. Rathe has performed at the Joyce Theater, Symphony Space and New York City Center. At the Youth America Grand Prix, she placed as a top twelve soloist for “Raggio di Luna,” choreographed for her by Margo Sappington and was a member of two other pieces choreographed by Sappington, placing 1st at the Youth America Grand Prix and 3rd at the TanzOlymp Competition in Berlin. Rathe can also be seen in the New York City Ballet Film PBS Special, New York: Opus Jazz. In 2011 she joined Ballet Theatre of Maryland where she performed corps and demi-soloist roles. She joined Mystic Ballet in 2012. |
