Aleksander Subotic

Born in Phoenix, Arizona, he received his training at the School of Mystic Ballet from Vladimir Putenko and Denise Lewis. Subotic attended and was awarded full scholarships to prestigious summer programs including Miami City Ballet, The Harid Conservatory, and American Ballet Theatre. He joined Mystic Ballet’s Junior Company in 2004, performing the title role in Peter Pan, Franz in Coppelia, and Kashchei in Firebird. Since joining the company in 2007 his repertoire has included works by Sidra Bell, Jozsef Czaba Hajzer, Yesid Lopez, Brian Enos and Sergei Vanaev. Leading roles include King Triton in The Little Mermaid, the Prince in A Mystic Nutcracker and Snow White, and Albrecht in Vanaev’s Giselle.
